Picked the rest of the tomatoes from the garden today - might have to try another salsa recipe.

My garden did ok this year but learned a few lessons I need to remember for last year.  Planting strawberries was my best decision!  My worst decision was some of the other things I decided to plant - lettuce always seems to go bitter on me, and I'm not sure why I planted turnips when I've never even eaten them before (ended up giving them away).  Hoping the growing season lasts long enough to get some corn, but not holding out too much hope there.

The kids had their private swimming lessons this week - they really liked their teacher (who happened to be friends with an old babysitter) and I loved the convenience.
